Best Western Premier Hotel Royal Santina

Very close to Termini station not even 5 minutes walk, clean, friendly staffs, bus stop for sightseeing bus is just across the hotel. Close to some of the attractions like the Colosseo 2 stops by Metro, few stops as well to Spanish steps and Fontana de Trevi.

The staff was amazing , very friendly, spoke English well. Were always there to get us a taxi, help us about breakfast times etc. Cleaners did their job very well too, room was spotless. Our room was big, had a couch / bed on the side for the kid, which came in handy, and a fridge. We had a safe , shower and bath tub in the room, amazing. Breakfast was great value for money too. Location is very good, as the train / metro is less than 5 mins of walking.

Rooms are comfortable, clean. Breakfast was full American and Italian styles, which was fantastic. Service was excellent. We needed soap and got it in 2 minutes. The hotel looks older on the outside but rooms are renovated and modern. Even has a speaker in the bathroom so you can hear your TV. Location is good, we were a short walk from the metro. A few stops away from all the major attractions.

For touring Rome we wanted to be situated near to the metro and other transportation links therefore when planning the Logistics Best Western made perfect sense in being located right by the Terminus which was great for us as the Tour Bus operated right outside the hotel and being the first stop enabled easy boarding. Equally being the last stop we could return to base if we needed. Equally the Shuttle going back to the airport collection point is right there as well. The Hotel staff are friendly, polite, efficient. The Hotel is modern and bright and the rooms have mood lighting to relax to. The rooms are clean, spacious, with comfortable beds, pillows and TV. The bathroom is a good size with shower and bath which was clean and maintained with nice towels and wash stuff available. Breakfast has a great selection of Traditional English and Continental with other patisserie choices which is essential for Rome as you will be burning calories. Staff are helpful and the breakfast team pleasant keeping the tables clean. For us this Hotel worked and gave us everything that we needed and upon checkout looked after our bags as we had a late flight. The staff were happy and smiling.

this side of Termini station is quite safe compared to the other side. The SIT shuttle bus stops just in front of the hotel even though we didn’t get to use it because SIT airport shuttle bus schedule didn’t fit us (40min waiting because it just left). Termini entrance is just few minutes away, grocery Coop also around there, and post office too. staff were all so warm and helpful. And the best part for us was the parking that we could reserve beforehand. Many other hotels have parking but first come first served. Although they have a limited slots, it’s important we can book a garage. there’s a parking building beside this hotel but it’s the kind of parking that machine operated parking, plus you need to leave a key to them yet there are certain time you can get the car out. And parking fee at hotel was quite reasonable. More importantly the hotel is located outside ZTL, the restricted zone that if you accidentally enter, you will get a huge fine after your vacation. Colosseum was easy walking distance from the hotel, or you can take a subway from Termini station.
